As someone who was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago, I have always felt a deep connection to my Caribbean roots. When I moved to Florida ten years ago, I found myself missing the sense of community and camaraderie that I felt back home. In particular, I felt a strong desire to help small businesses from the Caribbean get the visibility they deserve.
That's why I started up 868 Local - a company that helps small businesses showcase their products and services in a cost-effective way. By leveraging social media and other digital marketing tools, we help businesses build their brand and reach new customers. My vision for 868 Local is to not only support local businesses, but also to promote Caribbean culture and spirit.
In addition to my work at 868 Local, I'm also an avid sports fan. I have always loved soccer, cricket, and other sports that are popular in the Caribbean. Through my business and my personal interests, I hope to continue promoting the unique spirit and culture of the Caribbean both in the United States and beyond.
